Grants
A limited number of registration grants and short course grants are available for SETAC Europe student members and developing country members. SETAC grants allow students to benefit from a fee waiver.
The funds supporting this grant programme come from the 2014 Environmental Education Award winner, Dr. Ronny Blust who donated his prize money for the purpose of student participation, from a Syngenta Annual Meeting donation, from Sabadell Banc Foundation and from the SETAC Europe re-investment fund.

Registration and travel grants
Meeting registration grants (including 250 € for travel) are available for student members and/or LIC/LUMIC members.
Student Candidates:
- must be a SETAC student member (provide member ID number)
- must be living and residing in Europe, Middle East or Russia
- must be presenting a platform or poster presentation in Barcelona
- must submit a brief CV & motivation letter
- must submit a letter of recommendation
Low Income / Low Middle Income (LIC/LUMIC) Country candidates
- must be a SETAC member (provide member ID number)
- must be living and residing in one of the SETAC Europe administrated low or middle income countries (Albania, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Iraq, Kyrgyz Rep, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Macedonia, Rep of Moldavia, Romania, Serbia, Syrian Arab Republic, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen)*
- must be presenting a platform or poster presentation in Barcelona
- must submit a brief CV & motivation letter
- must submit a letter of recommendation
Short course grants
Short course grants are available for student members and/or LIC/LUMIC members.
Student Candidates:
- must be a SETAC student member (provide member ID number)
- must be living and residing in Europe, Middle East or Russia
- must submit a motivation letter
- must submit a short recommendation by supervisor
- must select a short course
Low Income / Low Middle Income (LIC/LUMIC) Country candidates
- must be a SETAC member (provide member ID number)
- must be living and residing in one of the SETAC Europe administrated low or middle income countries (Albania, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Iraq, Kyrgyz Rep, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Macedonia, Rep of Moldavia, Romania, Serbia, Syrian Arab Republic, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen)*
- must submit a brief CV & motivation letter
- must select a short course

the Future of Environmental and Human Health Exposure Modelling of Chemicals
20 Registration grants for this course are made available by the 4FUN project.
Among the applicants, 20 SETAC members will be selected based on cv and motivation to receive the grant.
Please complete the application form and return it to SETAC. Grants are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
* Other funds will be made available to support SETAC Africa members to participate in the 7th SETAC Africa meeting in South Africa on 5-8 October 2015.
